Musical Friday #82

EN: Hello Bananas! I hope you don't mind calling Bananas, I don't mean it as an insult, it is actually out of love :P. I like the word Bananas. I was thinking of a word that I could call my followers, some Bloggers call they followers "Diamonds", "Lovelies" or "Sprinklerinos" etc and I wanted my "own" nickname for you all >.<.

How is been your first week of the new year so far? Mine.. meeeehh. But at least I've been keeping up with my new year's resolution, slowly but I have. Like they say "Baby steps". You can read all about it over [here]. I decided to start writing on a notebook my progress and let's see if there is in fact any progress, God I hope so. 

Oh and I reached 380 followers, wow THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hello everyone! How was your week?

Nothing new over here other then "that moment when" the cosmetics brands Barry M and Collection (2000) followed me on Twitter ssaayyy uuwwhhhaattt? XD Crazy Bananas. Oh plus a Portuguese DJ that is living in Holland but that was on Tumblr, wicked.

Is starting to get really cold - no sh*t Karen - specially at night and you know what's bad? I don't have much winter clothes with me :/. Why? Because I left most of my winter clothe in London hoping that by now I would be there already rsrsrsrs. Oh well maybe early next year I can finally go. At least I have loads of winter jackets over here so is not all terrible.

Tomorrow I will meet up with some of my friends and eat some stuff... 'cause that's what I do when I get together with my friends we eat HAHA.

Hello everyone, how was your week?

Today is the 5th of the October, which for Portugal means, Independence Day - in a few words it means that in 1910 we stopped being a Monarchic and became a Republic. And we normally have a ceremony and raise the country's flag bla bla bla aaand something happened, has our President rose the flag.... it was upside-down -.- *sigh*. You can see the picture here.

In the Portuguese Bloggers community, during this week the Anna Dello Russo collection for H&M arrived to Portugal, there was like a small event thing in Lisbon at night in order for some Portuguese Bloggers to appear and you know the deal, they take pictures, drink and eat some stuff and sometimes are able to buy things before everybody else.... but apparently things didn't go so well. I read like at least 5 Blogs about this event and all of them in a way said the same... EVERYTHING WAS GONE! I guess by the time some Bloggers arrived to the H&M shop, some of them arrived 10 minutes after the event had started others 20 minutes, and basically everything was gone, there were other people there and they bought everyyything... there was barely anything left... And they say this country is in a crisis ppfffff -.- lol. Some of the pieces, like a necklace and a belt they cost about 99€, NINETY NINE EUROS! I'm hoping that they're pure gold... either that or at least that the colour doesn't come out with time.

Other than that... I got rid of some more clothes that I don't use and some other papers shenanigans... this is an ongoing process for me till like forever haha.

Azealia Banks - 1991 - New Single - I can not tell you how much I enjoy Azealia's songs. The beat of the songs remind me of the 90's, so the title of the song fits perfectly hehe, and I guess it was when Azealia was born. I am a child from the late 80's but I looove the music from the 90's hehe.

Hello everyone and HAPPY CHILDREN´S DAY! I know that all countries celebrate Children´s Day, but at least in Portugal and Slovakia they do XD. What about your country?

Another week has gone by, and the countdown in order to leave London has begun, oh my days! Luckily I won´t have to pack that much just the bare essentially... but then again... now that I´m writting this I´m looking around to my stuff and going like shiiizzz I will need that, that and that for the next 2/3 months lol, and then the point was to come back to London and bring more of my stuff so I don´t have to shop for more clothes, shoes, bags etc... okei will see, will see... 

Today I had a little stupid fight with Le Boyfriend while chatting with him on the internet.. I guess this is what happens with long distance relationships.. I don´t know. We´ve been apart for waaaaaaaayyyy too long >.< I don´t know I really don´t like fighting... I really don´t have the patience....

But after work I went to a pub with my work colleagues and it was nice to relax and have some fun!

Tomorrow I will do a little trip with my friend Zuzana, were are going to Leeds castle and then Canterbury & Dover, on the same day :D. Also this weekend it´s Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Celebration, son on Sunday I might go to some place an "celebrate" it. The city is full of U.K. flags all over the place, plus in every shop you find something dedicate to the U.K. whether is plates, cups, napkins, to towels, flip flops, sunglasses, shirts, bags EVERYTHING! lol It's funny.

Alright now, I´m going to bed, even though is not too late, I have to wake up bloody early -_- umpf!

Musical Friday #52

Hello everyone! Hope you had a good week. FINALLY London is getting warmer!!!! I couldn't deal with the crappy weather any longer, not knowing what to dress. I went to the Park this week, aahh it was so good! Here is very common like, as soon as the sun comes out people go to the garden/parks and lay on the sun, barbecue, exercise. As in for Portugal, when the sun comes out we like to stay indoors, because who likes to deal with 40 degrees dessert heat? Or we go to the beach. We don´t have many gardens/parks like these ones in London. We do have forests, but in my case I would have to make a proper journey to go there, as in here in London I just get in the bus or Metro and in 10 minutes I there... Oh well.

 I have booked my ticket to return to Portugal, my flight will be at 6AM on Sunday the 24th of June >.< I don't think I'm going to sleep that evening haha.

This week I went to see movie The Dictator with Sacha Baron Cohen, it's a funny movie, but it short, and maybe not worth it to see in the cinema :S.

Other than that after work today I went to a Pub in Crystal Palace area with my work colleagues called Westow House, so cool! Loved the decoration, the vibe, everything!

Linkin Park - Burn it Down - FRESHLY FRESH NEW SINGLE!!!! - You may or not know but Linkin Park is one of my ultimate favourite bands like evAr! Tomorrow the 26 of May they are going to Play in Portugal at Rock in Rio Festival. God, I saw them live twice, both in Portugal, in 2003 and 2004 (if I´m not mistaken) that was agggges ago, after that they already played like maybe 3/4 times in Portugal but I was never able to watch them, lack of company, money, The fact that the concert are in Lisbon and after the concert there is no night transportation in order to go home and bla bla bla... very hard. Anyways this is the First single of the new album "Living Things", that is due to come out on the 25th of June in the U.K. -_- one day before I leave the U.K. aaarrrrgghhhhh!

Musical Friday #51

Britain... Britain.. Britain... Heeelllooooo everyone! How was your week? Is it just me or did this week went by pretty fast? We are already in mid May…. Bloody hell! In a month time my internship is going to end and I have to go back to Portugal… but it probably won´t be for long… I will most probably try and return to London. I have to decide fast, so that way if I do return I can leave most of my stuff here at my family’s house and probably bring more stuff from Portugal lol. But if I do return I won´t live at their house for too long, hopefully I will be able to find a good house in a good area that I can afford. Who knows if my friend Zuzana also decides to stay here after she finishes her studies, we can live together again.

Pffffff other than that, I went shopping this week, bought a few little things, ai ai ai >.<. This Sunday I will try and organize my blog posts, I have loads of things that I bought but I still haven´t managed to post about it. Aaaaanndd I might film a video tomorrow… in case I have time and not too much noise on the background from my little cousin.
On the picture above, you can see two coffee cups with the U.K. flag, I asked my work colleague if I could have them, I thought it was so cute, and I decided to put my eye and face brushes in there :P. Do you like? Since being here I "found out" that coffee cups can be a cute (depending on the design print) cheap way to storage my makeup and hair brushes. :D

Pitbull - Back In Time ( "Men In Black III" Soundtrack) – New Single – Sometimes I really thing that someone is reading my mind, or I predict the future I don´t know. A few days before this video came out I thought “It has been a while since I saw a video as a soundtrack for a Movie” and then BAM this happens! Anyways, I still don´t know what to think about this song… it´s a bit weird, you got the 50/60 rock on the background, and then Pitbull is rapping then there is this Drum’n’bass/Dupstep moment aaaghhh… nah…. >.<

Musical Friday #47

Heeeeyyyyyy everyone! Sooooo this week I turned 26th years old! FUCKING HELL! >.< I still can't believe it.

My birthday was on the 18th of April, pfff what a day. You know those days that you start with your left foot? That was kinda of IT for me. There were no major tragedies, but a little thing here a little thing there, all of this happening on your Bday, is kinda of annoying. Don't you agree?

I asked for the day off, I went to one of those like, hair styling bars in the middle of the Shopping Malls, because I have 10 free hair styling sessions, I got them when I bought my flat iron with them, so I did like loose curls and the weather was like windy and kinda rainy and even though I used hairspray on my hair when I got home, the curls kinda disappeared throughout the day :(. At night me, my two cousins and 2 girls friends of my cousin, went to a Turkish restaurant, it was a lovely evening and when we returned home we ate some cake, the one that you can see on the picture. It's from Thorntons, my cousin bought it for me :D. As far as presents go, I got the cake and flowers and a ring from my family that I live with here, plus a Perfume from my Boyfriend from Carolina Herrera called 212 VIP. Now the thing is that me and my boyfriend we live in different countries (plus different continents >.<) and I'm not quite sure when I will be with him again, sooo I don't know when am I gonna get my Bday gift haha -_-. I have to go to a Perfume shop and smell it, let's hope he got it right, because I'm kinda picky with perfumes. The rest of the presents I bought from me to me lol.

Oh last Saturday I watched the Battleship Movie, it was quite good, have to do a review on that.

And right now I'm kinda pissed off, lol, I called the hair styling bar today to make an appointment for Saturday and the Lady says they don't do appointments on the weekend (Company's policy), and basically during the week is impossible for me to go because A, I work in the South, and the Shopping Center is in the North of London (I live in the Noth), and B they work from like 9h till 17h, I work from 9:30 till 17:30.... RRRAAAAAAHHHHHH! Bitches! I ended up hanging up the phone on the woman's face...

Since they don't check if I am the owner of that receipt I will ask my friends if they want to go in my place, so that the sessions don't go to waste. Aaahhh live.

Oh also today I found out that the model-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was also burn on the 18th of April but of 1987, I'm from 1986, so I'm one year older... and I look NOTHING like her, I don't mean like, because she is tall and Caucasian, is the fact that she looks more mature than me. I'm 26 and on my own  Birthday the waiter asked for my I.D. when I order a beer... how fucking annoying is that?

Hello everyone, how was your week? For me, I only worked for a 3 days XD. Monday was my day off and then on Tuesday I wasn't feeling well :S

Yesterday I had another acting class, it was my sixth, only two more to go :(. This time it was with a substitute Teacher like on our first class, our original Teacher couldn't come.

Not much happened during this week, other than a little bit of shopping, and some little changes on my look, nothing too drastic... I will reveal next week okay?

I've been 4 months in London, and I already had two different mobile phone networks. I used to have a Orange SIM card, from when I was in the U.K. for the first time, but “he” decided to DIE the day before I came to London... I was like “Are you fO real?”. So when I arrived to London, my cousin had some extra Vodafone SIM card, so she gave me phone, in the beginning it seemed cool, cause I would charge with 10 Pounds, and it seemed that it was a good deal, I had free messages to every network, and then every time I Top-Uped my mobile, I would get like a code so that I could collect a prize. The first time I chose some from Thorntons, well I picked the Thorntons option, then they would give me a specific candy treat, I couldn't pick whatever I wanted lol. To find a Thorntons shop was a pain in the ass, 'cause apparently they are running out of business or something. Anyways when I founded and I got these Toffee thingys, which you can see from the photo, they were quite good! Inside I guess it's a whole bar, and you have to smacked first so that you can break it in order to eat

After that I noticed some problems with Vodafone, as in apparently it has the crappiest network recession in the country -_-, I would be in a restaurant and have NO NETWORK! And I wasn't the only one with that problem, two of my colleagues also had no network -_-. So I decided to change to O2.... hhummm but I don't like it... or maybe I have to change the tariff, BAAAHHH so many options!

Oh well, today is Friday 13th... and I will go to a house party later on... let's see how that goes haha.

Rihanna – New Single - Now this video came out recently, together with another video of Drake called “HYFR”, but it has been so hard to find this video, I can't even find on Drake's official Youtube page, so don't be surprised if the video stops working – cancelled due to copyrights or something. But in any case, I love Drake and this song is no exception.

Hello everyone! And Happy Easter! :D May you be filled with chocolate eggs XD.

Soooooooooooooooooo this week passed really fast, or is it just me?

Last Saturday I went to Stonehenge and Bath with my work colleague Mina, great trip, I was so dead by the end, I will try in the future to do a post about it. OMG I still need to finish my Posts about my experience and Prague, and Mozambique and my roadtrip las Summer, and now in London, ooohhh my daaayyyy. It's really hard for me to focus were I'm leaving at, with a almost 4 year old child always bugging me around.

Anyways, today after work I will be going to Nottingham! Haven't been there almost two years now. For those of you that don't know in the year 2009/2010 I was an Erasmus student at Nottingham Trent University, again it was an awesome experience not only party wise but also academically, they have a bit of a different measure of teaching which I found very good and accessible. I will be going with my friend Zuzana, who also was an Erasmus student on the same year as me, that were we met, and we will meet up with other to friends of ours from the same time as us Sarah and Maria. AAHHHHH I'm so existed just hope the weather is good . Is gonna be so freaking weird to go back to Nottingham.

Yesterday I had another Acting Class, OMG, I'm so tired. Did I signed up for an acting class or a gym class? XD We did some acting yesterday, ooohhh I love it so much. Whenever is my time to act, right before going I get a bit nervous “Oh no, I'm gonna make a full of myself, this is so embarrassing” but then once I'm in VVVUUUTTT I'm in the ZONE! I forget about everybody else in the room, is just me and whoever is acting with me. AAHHH WHAT A RUSH!

In this video, you can see Jennifer interacting with her new “boyfriend” Casper, who is also one of her dancers. You would think that after Jennifer married one of her dancers back in 2001 with Cris Judd she would not mess with dancers, plus to do a video with you love one in my personal opinion is almost like doing a Tattoo on your body with your boyfriends name... it's a curse! Hey everyone how was your week?

So were you able to spot the problem with the picture above? Yeah my Trench cat got ripped and I'm not sure how. I'm guessing my jacket's belt got caught somewhere and without me noticing RRRRRSSSSSSSS -_-. Now I have to buy a new Spring jacket because the other ones that I have that I brought are all for winter -_- aaarrrggghhhh.

Anyways the good thing about this week was that the time changed and the weather in London has been preeettttty warm! :D

Last Saturday I went to see the Hunger Games, it was good, I will do a separate post about it. In the mean time tomorrow I'm going to visit Stonehenge and Bath. The idea was originally from my friend Zuzana and we booked the tickets, but then a last minute personal issue she is not able to go anymore, so that the ticket doesn't go to waste I invited a colleague of mine from work :). Nails of the day! You like?

Hey everyone! How was you week? Mine eehhhh not so bad, I managed to get my voice back but I'm still coffin every now and then. This week went by pretty fast for me... and I realized that is almost the end of March that I leaving London in June and that I haven't properly visited the city yet! >.< I've been here before so I know a few places but still there are loads of others to visit. Amazingly over here my weekends are always filled, Family gatherings, a night out, shopping spree XD. Gotta fix that!

Yesterday I had my third acting classes, this one was a bit hard for me, because one of our "exercises" was like to make eye contact with other people, AARRGGHHHH I'm terrible at that, I'm so shy and uncomfortable when it comes to eye contact! It comes from years of shyness and body/images complexes. I'm not so shy now and the way that I think and feel about my looks have changed I'm a bit more comfortable with it, but that bad habit of mine - the eye contact - stayed and it wasn't till yesterday that I realized that I'm still 100% cool with it. 

For this weekend I might see The Hunger Games movie, plus meet up with a friend of mine that pretty soon she is going to leave London and go back to Japan.

For this week of Musical Friday Post is all about female singers, it just naturally happened! I saw one video and I wanted to share, then the new Madonna and Katy Perry videos came out this week, plus I found another one and the last one was on my list to share already for a while, so I guess they go quite well together. Hope you enjoy it as I know some of you do :) xoxo.

KAZAKYYYYY!!!! :p Yeah some of you that might been following my Blog since last year, I already did two posts about Kazaky, they are a Ukrainian male group, but they are not your ordinary boys band, coff coff, theeeyyy will wear high heels AND WORK IT GUUUURL! They are amazing dancers! Check them out! And why am I talking about them? Because they are in Madonna's video, I was able to recognize 3 of them. Another aspect about this videos is the that as soon as I seen it, I knew.... Musical Friday #42

Hello everyone!

FIRST OF ALL, the date for my Giveaway deadline has been changed. Previously it was going to end this Sunday the 18th but since I've been noticing some mistakes, and I guess some people had problems with the program Rafflecopter, I'm trying to sort things out. So the new date is on the 31st of March, so TWO more extra weeks! I'm very sorry for this inconvenience. I will announce the winner either on the 1st/2nd of April (depending own things go) I will do a post on my Blog, announce it on Twitter, my Facebook page and my G+ page... so basically EVERYWHERE! And I will send an email to the winner and she/he will have to response within 48 hours after the announcement.

Okei, other this, my week went well, pretty fast I'll say, and I kinda felt sick this week again -_-, I reminded myself that last time I lived in the U.K. (in Nothingham) atleast once a month I will get sick, except like in the warm season from April onwards I think, but from mid September 2009 till March 2010, I was always, once a month be sick, fever, coff, cold bla bla bla, the rain was terrible for me. Like in Portugal when it rains, is not that cold, but if you catch rain in Nottingham OOMMGGGG I died! It is soooo cold! Terrible! One afternoon I forgot my umbrella so I caught some rain, it wasn't even that much, but it was enough for me, that same day I started to have throat pains and the rest followed....

Other than that, yesterday I had another Acting Class, it was loads of fun and I should try and bring more practical clothes, meaning no jeans, 'cause we have to run, and jump, and lay on the floor all sort of stuff, and jeans can be very like... not stretchy enough XD. We actually did a bit of acting, very small script, but still it was ultra fun and I really enjoy it. I can't wait to do more of that!

P.S.: On the 18th of March I guess it's Mother's Day in the U.K., while in Portugal on the 19th is suppose to be Father's Day... huuumm funny... why can't they all agree in one day? Like Christmas lol.

Hello everyone! And Hello and Welcome for the new followers! J I reached the 200 followers yyeeaaahhhiiii... I will start preparing my first Giveaway very soon.

How was your week? Mine nothing that special. Last weekend was the IMATS in London which I didn’t go.  It has started to snow in London for the first time... really? In February? -_o

It started to snow last Saturday afternoon, and that day was the day that I went out at night, while snowing... wearing a skirt and tights! SUPRISINGLY it wasn’t that cold as I thought it would be. The big problem was when we were trying to return home, we couldn’t find cabs/taxis, and we didn’t know which bus to take to go home at first, so from all the walking around, the snow was staring to melt, which meant there was cold water coming in to our shoes -_-. My upper body was ok, my feet were dying! Luckily the boots that I had I bought them during sales time at Bershka for like 7/9 Euros, if I had paid the full price for them I would be so pissed off!

Anyways, yesterday and today I spent the day at home, ‘cause I wasn’t feeling good :/ Hopefully this weekend will feel better and be able to do something outdoors!

Madonna performed this song at the Super Bowl and the rapper M.I.A. flipped the bird at the camera during the performance, oohhh snap! Now she is in big trouble, and probably has to pay a fine for it!

Musical Friday #28

Hello everyone? How was your week?

Mine was pretty calm. On Wednesday I was at my friend’s Daniela, aka Akuma Kanji house, it was her birthday, and I died her hair :P, it isn’t the first time that I do that to her, but it was the first time that that I put rollers on her hair hehe. It was fun, I like her new hair colour, it’s on the plums shades. And then he decided to put rollers on her hair, I sometimes put on mine, it’s a lot of work but the final effect it’s nice. My sleeping hours are still out of control >.< I’m becoming almost a Vampire, just wanna sleep during the day and do stuff at night lol. This is not good… I gotta start changing this bad habit of mine.

Drake – Headlines – When this single came out and my boyfriend showed to me, I was like meh… but then it started growing on me, and now I love it :P. “True story” haha. I love his lyrics, the simple beats and the way he singing/raps, I like his tone of voice. Did you know that Drake is Canadian?

 

Musical Friday #26

It's Friday everyone, the end of another week. With all this time spent at home, all days seem the same for me.

So regarding me Laptop, I gave the green light in order to fix it, in the mean time I have the Hard Disk of my Laptop. I bought a case, the guy put the Hard Disk inside, and now I use it kinda like an external drive. The fixing of my laptop, will take about 2 weeks. He has to get some pieces for the Laptop, and then it has to stay in testing, to make sure, everything is working 100% and it doesn't puff as soon as it gets home lol. I'm so happy that my Hard Disk is intact, aaahhh crazy bananas!

In the mean time, regarding, where the hell will I go next year, so I guess Prague is off the plan and now is London Baby! Due to some misunderstanding between the Company and my University, only one girl from my University can do the internship, and in this case the other girl will go. The Company never called me to make an interview or whateva - even though they didn't need it because they already know me - ... I am both sad and happy. I'm sad that I won't be able to work again with my colleagues of the Company, and party with them, and be with my Shushu Plami all the time, but at the same time I'm existed to go to London off course. I'm just waiting to know if they will need me in January or only in March. It's exiting to hear a company say that they are interested in you. Now I just don't know if they are "just sayin'" 'cause in the way it will be free labour, they won't have to pay me, my University is the one that give us the scholarship, or they are actually excited for me to come on over. Either way is good to hear positive feedback, don't you think?

For now I'm working with my Windows XP Professional from the year 2003 desktop computer.. oh Dear Lord! It's soooo slow, I have no idea what the fudge it's the problem. Even to write this post is a nightmare, it's like I will write 2 sentences, and the guy is still stuck on the first 3 words....

Lana Del Rey – Blue Jeans – AUGH! She is got to be this year’s best newcomer in the music business. Today I show you 2 of my favourite singles from her, love it, love it, love it! Her personal style and the music, looks like a miss from the 60’s, and something from the 90’s. There was this moment in the 90’s that people (I think mostly in America) were dressing like the 50’s and 60’s., some certain dress cuts, and the big puffy hair…

Musical Friday #24

Hello everyone. How was your week?

For me it was like this, I managed to get my glasses back. The dinner with my Uni colleagues last week it went well, it ended up being at an Italian restaurant instead of a Mexican. This week I went to my University to talk about my internship situation, is still a work in progress… but then I took the advantage since I was already at my Uni, to take care of some papers, and one my way home I noticed a mistake – no surprise there if you studied at the same University as me – they basically forgot to put one Module of mine on the Certification -_- American Cinema, so I had to go back and tell them about it, and they have to do a new one.

Then I had some problems with my mobile, I had to ask for a new SIM card, for like the 3^rd or 4^th time :/ aaannddd tomorrow I will participate on a Focus Group :D I will tell you more about it, after it, stay tuned ;)

Duran Duran – Girl Panic! – New Single – This is what happens when you mix Duran Duran, Top Models – like Naomi, Cindy, Eva, Helena, and I'm not sure who is the 5th one – and Dolce & Gabbana :P

Hello everyone! First of all, what do you thing about the new layout?

I admit is not 100% new. A while back, I had this white backround, with that little girly doll and some different letters, as the banner. But this time I decided to give the white backround a chance again (even though loads of Blogs have it), and changed the banner a bit. So the letters are different, and I cut the dolls head open, and had some stuff flying out of her head... She's opening her mind... get it? o_O

Let me know if you like or not, I know is not some DRAAAAStic changes, but I'm also not an expert with this things.

Now on to the music!

Hello everyone?

Today I decided to try Blogger's new layout - that I talked bit about it here - and start getting use to it.

I finished most of the unpacking, now is just little stuff here and there, but probably I still need to do some changes in my bedroom because of it. I've been all week at home dealing with the unpacking, I've only been out of the house 3 times >.<.
UH! next Monday it's my Leonardo Da Vinci internview, uuufffff wish me luck guys, fingers crossed!

AND OH! I remembered than I forgot...bad me... but my Blog is 4 years old (since August 2007)... oohhh yeah. But I admit, I've only been more active on it, since 2010. So Happy Delay-B-Day for my Blog! Let's Celebrate with some Music.

Jennifer Lopez - Papi - I'm terrible with these little details XD at 4:05m you clearly see JLo with a certain type of shoes, pretty big heels ... but that changes at 4:16m, with the same coloured shoes, but the heel is waaay much smaller >.< But in overall I like the video... specially when she looks like "scared" "wtf is going on" :P
