Hello Everyone! A show that I like to watch is Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model, the eight season finished a few weeks ago (I'm no 100% because I saw the episodes on Youtube).
For this season there were some changes. With the judges they substituted two of them for Tyson Beckford - model/actor/singer - and Whitney Port - Reality TV Star from The The Hills and The City now Fashion Designer - and they maintained Fashion Designer Julien MacDonald and the Super Model aka The Body Elle MacPherson. The final prize is still the same shenanigans, money, model contract, cover of the COMPANY Magazine, Revlon contract and a house for a year bla bla bla. But they way that the first episode was filmed was different, meaning, we are normally used to see the castings going from city to city searching for the girls, and this case they were already selected, 20 girls and all of them flew to DUBAI! Some of them got eliminated while in Dubai and then the rest of the girls moved in to the Model's House in London and the show continues as normal.
Overall I liked this cycle but it wasn't my favourite, specially because my favourite models didn't stay almost till the end, plus some that were really annoying stayed longer (not fair). You know every season there is always a few bitches and sometimes I think that the judges keep those girls on purpose in order to exist some DRAMA in the house, or else "it wouldn't be fun".

Lana was considered Woman of the Year by GQ. No wonder, the woman is everywhere! Besides having a great album, she's the face for Mulberry, Jaguar and H&M and she might be thinking in getting in more to writing and possibly become and actress?
If you are wondering who does that hand belong to (in the picture that a man is grabbing her boob) is GQ's Creative Director Paul Solomons (if I'm not mistaken on the Surname).
You may or not know the famous Anna Dello Russo, she's Italian and she's the Fashion Director of Vogue Japan, in any case her collection for H&M for this Fall should be out very soon! I guess the name of the collection is suppose to be "Affordable Extravagance!" Are you curious?
Yesterday I saw this video of her, so basically is the Commercial for the collection. The tittle of song? - yes she kinda sings - it's "Fashion Shower". OH it's so good and funny! Just watch it! The woman is 50! 50 YOU GUYS! Look at that body! And how flexible she is.... yes I am jealous XD.

If you tend to visit Fashion Blogs you have probably seen people wearing or at least talking about the Army camouflage pattern that has returned to the Fashion World.
Now like anything in life, some people like it some people hate it. Personally I love it! This love didn't appear overnight. Some of my close friends probably already know this but I am a big Army camouflage Lover! Up until recently I had like 3 tops and a 1 pair of like mid leg pants, which I end up giving to other people because it didn't fit me anymore and I never thought that this style would come back in style. BUT I did manage to keep at least two things that I can recall, an Army style necklace that a dear friend gave me like aaages ago (which currently I'm not sure where it is lol) and this "half" jacket from Stradivarius. I have this jacket since like October/November of 2005. So it's about 7 years old! WOW! When I saw it at the store it was like "Love at First sight", at the time I was rrreeeaalllyy into Army camouflage pattern and anything with the Khaki colour on it. So I bought it, used it a lot during 2005/06 and then he just stayed in my wardrobe for years!
What I have seen other people wearing is more like longer and big/oversized jackets, not quite this style of my jacket.
Hello Everyone! The Ladies above need no introduction, but just in case you don´t know them - and if don´t... where have you been? - on the left is singer Lana Del Rey and on the right also singer and I guess sort of an actress Rihanna.
And soon this is what is going to happen... no they are not getting together and do a duet - not that I know of - but each of them are getting to together with a clothes brand. This Tuesday was announced that Lana Del Rey will be the new face of Swedish brand H&M for this year´s Fall campaign. Now I don´t know if she will be just the face or also has some input on the clothes design. But apparently on the 19th of September it will be released a video commercial with Lana singing a famous song "Blue Velvet", a request made by H&M.
Now as for Rihanna, this one opposite to Lana's announcement, I haven´t seen many people talking about it, maybe because River Island (a U.K. brand), even though is sold Internationally, with cool kinda expensive clothes, still is not has BIG has H&M. Anyways yeah, on Monday was announced that Rihanna will collaborate with River Island for 2013 Spring Collection. And apparently Rihanna was the one that approach River Island, read the news HERE. Now I wouldn't imagine Rihanna with River Island, I think that Rihanna would be a better match with TOPSHOP, but never the less I´m excited to see what is she going to do!

Lana Del Rey, considered one of the singers of the year, with so many fans months before her album "Born to die" started being sold this year. She is already full of controversy and sitting in the front rows in Fashion shows.
Lana Del Rey's real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, born on the 21th of June of 1986, originally from New York. She is now 25 years old, but it seems that she already had a live time of full of good and bad experinces (based on the lyrics of her songs).
I already got my copy of this Vogue magazine and when I read that she might not release another album I was like "uuuuwwwhhaaaattt???".
She describes her style has Gangster Nancy Sinatra - and I couldn't agree more -, also an interesting fact is that she stopped drinking seven years ago, meaning she was like 17/18, WOW.
The controversy sorrounding Lana is either regarding her voluptous lips, that she did something to them, or that she is a fabricated singer full of layers behind her.
Either way, I don't care about those details, I'm loving her songs, her melancholic voice and her 50's/60's style!
