D.I.Y. #6 Revamp your Denim Jacket with studs

So remember this old post? Yeah a D.I.Y. project that became pendent for a long time. Thank you so much for all the suggestions in where to place the studs.

I ended up changing the studs. I was initially going to use some round ones that actually were like office supply pins but then one day I went to a Chinese shop and bought two little bags with pyramid studs, in total they are like 30 studs and I contemplated for a long time again about where to place them. So then I remembered that I had a belt with studs that I no longer use because it's old and I decided to use those studs instead on my Denim jacket.

To show you a bit of the process I have some photos and in the end there is a video of what I've done.

Lembram-se deste post? Pois este projecto de "Faça você mesmo" ficou pendente por muito tempo. Muito obrigado pelas sugestões para onde colocar as tachas.

Eu acabei por mudar as tachas. Eu inicialmente iria usar umas que são redondas que na verdade é para usar em coisas do escritório mas depois fui  a uma loja Chinesa comprei dois saquinhos com tachas em pirâmide, no total tem 30 tachas e eu durante um tempo fiquei a pensar onde irei os colocar. Mas depois lembrei-me que tinha um cinto com tachas que já não usava faz tempo porque ele já está um pouco estragado, então decidi usar as tachas desse cinto no meu casaco de ganga.

Para vos mostrar um pouco do processo tirei algumas fotos e no final podem ver também um vídeo que eu filmei.

D.I.Y. #5 - Bracelets Videos

I have a Board on Pinterest dedicated to D.I.Y. stuff but since I'm "not able" to share the pictures - for reasons that I've already explained on my previous post - I will share with you some videos (you can also pin videos to Pinterest).

A few months ago I went to a Chinese shop and bought some things in order to make a bracelet but once I got home and started "making" the bracelet one of the pieces did not fit in another piece so that "project" is pendent for now.

In the mean time I discovered other Chinese shops that sell D.I.Y. stuff so I will make other things in a near future. And perhaps also do a video about it?!?!? Would you like that?

D.I.Y. #4 Revamp your jewelry - Old Bracelet

 

EN: Hello Bananas! Today's post is just another little D.I.Y. that I've done a few weeks ago. Since my last D.I.Y. post were I revamped my Earcuff from TOPSHOP, I've been going through my jewelry searching for other things that I can revamp haha.

So the next victim was an old bracelet of mine, and by old I mean really old, I'm 99.9% sure that it came with a magazine that I used to buy during my teens. I'm 26 now... you do the math!

PT: Olá Bananas! O post de hoje  é outro pequeno D.I.Y. que eu fiz. Desde que fiz o meu último post de D.I.Y. sobre o que fiz com o meu brinco da TOPSHOP, tenho andando a vasculhar as minhas bijutarias para ver o que mais possso alterar haha.

Então a próxima vítima foi uma pulseira velha minha, e quando digo velha é mesmo velha, eu tenho quase 99.9% certeza que ela veio com uma revista quando ainda era adolescente. Eu agora tenho 26 anos... por isso façam as contas!

D.I.Y. #3 Revamp your jewelry - TOPSHOP Ear Cuff

EN: Hello everyone, today's post is a small D.I.Y. that I've done the other day.

When I was still living in London early this year I found this ear cuff earring in TOPSHOP for like half price or something and there were 3 options. All of them were gold but then the chain was either green, purple or pink so I took the green one. Passed some months forwards and that green bit started to annoy me. So the other day I grabbed it and decided to paint it all black!

PT: Olá a todos, o post de hoje é sobre um pequeno D.I.Y. que eu fiz no outro dia.

Quando ainda estava a viver em Londres no inicio deste ano eu encontrei este brinco/ear cuff na TOPSHOP por metade do preço acho eu e havia 3 opções. Todos eram de tom dourado mas depois a corrente ou era verde, roxo ou rosa, então eu escolhi a verde. Passado alguns meses e aquela parte verde começou-me a chatear. E então no outro dia peguei no brinco e decidi pintar todo de preto!

NEXT D.I.Y.

EN: Hello everyone! Just a quick post to let you know about my next D.I.Y. "project". 

Thanks to Akuma Kanji I found these "pins" at a local Chinese shop. Now I call them pins because I think they are meant to be used with paper or something, basically this is office stuff. So I bought two packs and in total I have 38 of them. I'm not sure what am I'm gonna do with them, initially I wanted to put them on my upper back but then realized I would need to buy like four more packs... huummm nah. So I'm either putting on my shoulders or on my collar. Opinions?

Huummm I will decide later, at the moment I have to wash this jacket first, I haven't used it in yeeaaarrssss he is 10 years old. TEN.

I will keep you updated. Would you like to see a video of me doing this D.I.Y. "project"?

PT: Olá a todos! Apenas um post breve para vos avisar do meu próximo "projecto" D.I.Y. - Faça Você Mesmo.

Graças à Akuma Kanji, encontrei estes "pins" numa loja dos chineses. Agora eu chamo isto de pins porque eu não acho que isto seja para roupa, isto é para ser usado em cenas de papel ou sei lá... opah são cenas para o escritório. Comprei duas caixas, no total tenho 38 pins. Ainda não sei aonde irei colocar, inicialmente iria pôr nas minhas costas, na parte de cima, mas ao fazer contas percebi que iria ter de comprar práí mais umas 4 caixas pelo menos... hhuummm nah. 

Por isso devo pôr isto nos ombros ou no colarinho. Opiniões?

Huummm irei decidir depois porque agora este casaco de ganga está para ser lavado, eu já não o uso à aaannooosss, ele tem 10 anos. DEZ!

Eu depois farei um posto sobre o assunto de como isto correu, mas por acaso gostariam de ver este "projecto" em vídeo?

D.I.Y. #2 When a Paper Towel stand becomes a Bracelet Holder

Yeah that's right, you read it right! So basically Pinterest is AWESOME! Have I ever told you how much I love Pinterest? I think I have!

So I have this board named How to organize/ideas on Pinterest and I love collecting pictures, whether to transform something, or how to do something, etc... One time I saw this picture here, which is basically like a Kitchen/Toilet Paper Towel stand and someone put a bunch of bracelet on it. BRILLIANT!

So the other day I was at a Chinese shop with my mother, spotted a metallic Kitchen Towel stand and decided to buy it.

 As soon as I arrived home over course I took all of my bracelets out of the boxes and OMG .... I have so many bracelets I never thought about it >.<

And I managed to fit about 90% of my Bracelets on there, some of them still have to live in boxes, but it's okay.

So what do you think about it?

New Makeup Brushes Storage

EN: Hello everyone! Has some of you may already know I´m back in Portugal and you may or may know aswell that I left some of my stuff back in London like for example my cute coffee cups with the U.K. flag [see here] that I used to put my makeup brushes and my Muji thingy [see here] that I used put my mascaras, lipsticks, pencils bla bla bla. Once I arrived to Portugal and was putting my stuff in place, since now I have a bit more makeup brushes, they don´t all fit inside my makeup brushes bag, so I engraved this idea on my head that I wanted like a clear glass jar, cup whateva and I would fill it with like crystal rocks and voilá put my brushes inside! :D

PT: Olá a tosos! Como alguns de vocês devem saber eu estou de volta a Portugal e podem ou não saber mas eu deixem algumas minhas coisas em Londres, como por exemplo os meus copitos de café com a bandeira do Reino Unido [vejam aqui] onde eu punha os meus pincéis de maquilhagem e a minha cenaça da Muji [vejam aqui] onde eu punha os meus rímeis, batôns, lápis bla bla bla. Assim que cheguei a Portugal e comecei a pôr as minhas coisas no lugar, agora que tenho mais pincéis de maquilhagem, eles já não cabem todos dentro do meus estojo de pincéis, Então eu meti na cabeça de que queria uma jarra, copo com vidro assim transparente e depois metia daquelas pedrinhas cristalinas e voilá ponho os meus pincéis lá dentro! :D

D.I.Y #1 When Jeans become Shorts and get ripped

Hello everyone, today I bring you my first D.I.Y (Do It Yourself). This one is pretty easy though, from jeans to shorts, plus rip them.

But first just let me tell you that now I have a G Plus page and a Facebook page for my Blog, you can follow me there if you wish :).

Okay back to the D.I.Y.
What will you need:
-A pair of Jeans
-Scissors
-Needle
-Tweezers

So you start off with a pair of jeans, I pick these ones from Bershka, they are probably 5/6 years old, one of my favourite jeans, since in a way they have sentimental value for me (lol), but didn't look good on me anymore, I decided to cut them.
