Movie List #3

EN: I can't believe we are already in June. In the beginning of the year I made a list of all the movies I want to see this year. So basically at least once a month I will be in the cinema this year. So far that matter my boyfriend and I look for way to safe a bit of money, either use two for one tickets day, or use some voucher codes, whatever helps.
And just a little story about myself, I'm quite the fussy cinema goer. If I go to the cinema I don't wanna hear talking, is one thing to share something quick with your partner but to have a full on conversation NO. I don't like people that eat loudly with their mouths open, WHY, JUST WHY? People that don't let go of their phones specially the ones that don't even mute them. Ideally I don't like people sitting next to me (unless is someone that I know), or in front of me, the way that some cinema rooms are designed the seat behind is not elevated enough and the head in from of me annoys me... but I digress....
Here is some of the movies that I already seen except for the last one.

Movie List #2

EN: I thought I would ease into the blogging habit with a simply post about the movies I'm looking forwards or interested in watching for 2015.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron - From all of the movies this is the one that I want to see the most.

Going to the cinema alone

EN: Yesterday for the first time I went to the cinema alone. The reason for this was because I wanted to watch the new Thor movie and I had no company, either the people I know weren't interested or just bad timing. So I decided to go by myself. I mean how bad could it be?
Well let me tell you. So when I went to the cinema to buy my ticket the man said to me "Just one? Are you watching alone?", I said yes and then he asked "Why?", my reaction was like O_O WTF.... is it that bad to go to cinema alone??????? So I just told him "Well... my friends don't like this type of movies blah blah".
Needless to say I left that place feeling weird and contemplating about live and if  people thinking that I'm some kind of loner :S. But then I thought F-THEM! I like spending time with my friends and family but I also enjoy my alone time.
Later when I entered the cinema room I was the only person in there but then again it was 15:20 on a Wednesday afternoon. But 10 minutes later 4 other people came in. They stayed in the middle of the room and I stayed aaalllll the way in the back right in the middle of the screen and it was the best seat ever.
Overall I didn't mind going to the cinema alone, it's not like anybody was gonna bite or something and I think I might be going more often by myself. It feels the same as I'm watching a movie at home but in this case on a bigger screen haha. The only thing is if something happens in the movie you can't really share a thought or make jokes with someone other than yourselves.
What about you? Have you ever went to the cinema alone?

Movie List #1

EN: I'm excited for the next couple of months because there is a bunch of movies that I want to watch. Do you go watch a movie (in the cinema) because of the actors that are in it, the story line or because of the Director? For me it's a little bit of each really, so you will see a pattern on my movie choices because of the actors in it.
What movies are you looking forwards to watch?

P.S.: The release movie dates are all for the U.K..

Movie Review #3 "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2"

Soooooo did you see it? I know I'm a bit (a lot) late "review", I saw the movie last August with my boyfriend while I was still in Prague before we started our roadtrip. Aaaaaaaand it was sad, it was a good movie, it was a closure movie aaandd a cried, yes I cried -_- ARE YOU HAPPY? :P I know I cried more than once, definitely when one of the twin brothers died :(.
What more can I say? Whithout giving the whole movie away? My best advice is to see it, but don't forget to see the previous movies. I confess that I only read like 1 book and a half of the whole saga - so the
1st book, and half of the 2nd - I admit I'm not a big fan of reading books, even though most people that are fans of Harry Potter tell me to read the books, 'cause the movie doesn't shows us everything, oooohh weellll maybe one day I will bother to read them.... Of course without reading the book, I can't do much of a critic, since I can not compare it, and say that they didn't recreate certain scenes that are important to help connect the dots whateva, or in the book this scene was more like this and that...
But in overall I liked the movie, the actors do a great job, special effects wise it's awesome as usual, even though Michael Gambon is a great actor, I do prefer the old Dumbledore played by actor Richard Harris. I don't know why.. maybe because I got used to him, or simply 'cause I felt that he did a better elderly Professor :/, but unfortunatly Richard passed away.
What are your thoughts abouth the movie? In case you don't feel like seeing the 7 previous movies, you can just watch the next clip from the FineBros, it gives you a basic resume of the 7 movies in 7 minutes haha.
But I think, I'm gonna do a Harry Potter Movie Marathon one day uuuufff.
I can't wait to see these guys future movie roles, it will be hard not to compare them to their characters in H.P., especially if they maintain certain "habits" which sometimes happens when actor play a certain caracther for a long time, they can get "typecast" sometimes.

Movie Review "The Hangover Part II"

Last Sunday (19 June), I went to the Cinema after work, with Plamina, and we saw the Hangover 2 movie. This time it was Plamina that won a free Cinema ticket at our job.
Before talking about the movie (it won't be too much anyways), I will tell you about the trailers XD. (P.S.: Is anybody here a fan of Dane Cook, if you seen his stand-up performance on Vicious Circle, you would know a part that he jokes about taking a girlfriend to the Cinema and analyzing the trailers, so funny, anyways that's how I feel when I watch a trailer now).

Movie Review "X-Men : First Class"

This last week I saw the new X-Men movie. It's called "X-Men: First Class", and I love it! I couple of weeks ago I won a cinema ticket at my job, for one of the Agents with the best Quality phone call of the week (100%) (there was a competition going on, in order to motivate us to do better phone calls). Anyways, I went with Plamina to watch the movie, I was super exited, from all these Americans Super Heroes cartoons, the X-Men saga always been my favourite >.< (I mentioned Americans, 'cause if I bring Japanese Anime to the competition, I would say Drangon Ball... Son Goku can kick anybody's ass... I'm just saying).

Movie Review "Eat Pray Love"

So yesterday I saw the new movie with Julia Roberts' called "Eat Pray Love", it is another of those movies that were based on a book, in this case a book with the same title by author Elizabeth Gilbert . And what I can say, is that the movie was better than I expected ^^.
It's really one of those life changing movies, full of inspirational quotes that can bring a tear to your eye and makes reflect about your own life and make you wanna pack a bag and travel and explore the world and its vast cultures. This movie takes place in New York, Italy, India and Bali.
I admit that I never heard about the book, I didn’t knew that the movie was based on the book, what actually made me go see the movie in the first place, was the fact that the actor Javier Bardem is in it :P. Javier is originally from Spain and in the movie he plays a Brazilian man o_ô, are you gonna tell me that they couldn’t find a Brazilian actor that can speak English? Don’t get me wrong I adore Javier but ccaaamooon' >.<.
Some of my favorites quotes of the movie were the following:
"It’s better to live your own life imperfectly than to imitate someone else's perfectly."
"This is a good sign, having a broken heart. It means we have tried for something."
"To lose balance sometimes for love is part of living a balanced life."
"I think I deserve something beautiful."
"You were given life, it is your duty (and also your entitlement as a human being) to find something beautiful within life, no matter how slight."
"Eventually, everything goes away."
"Do not apologize for crying. Without this emotion, we are only robots."

For more quotes of the movie you can check this website:

Soooo yeah I enjoyed watching the movie. It's a feel-good-movie, I do recommend it. Now I’m trying to find the soundtrack of the movie :P
