EN: Hello everyone!

And once again long time no see. Even though one of my plans was to write more often on my Blog this year I feel like I have less free time as the year goes by.

I just can't help it, my job takes a lot of my time and when it comes to my days off is other spent resting and organising the house or going outside and enjoy the day with my boyfriend if I can (since we don't have many days off together).

Other than that, soon I will be turning 31 years old....  aaahhhhhhh where did the time go... I'm not ready for this....

EN: And another month is almost gone. Halloween hasn't even happened yet and some store are already selling Christmas stuff (Decorations, Advent Calenders, Gifts etc...). This year passed waaayyyy to fast and sssoooo soooooo many things have happened good and bad. It has been a another roller-coaster year for me. Let's see how this year ends.

Hello everyone!

These last weeks I've been away from my Blog but that's because I've been busy getting ready for my holidays. The last time I had a proper vacation was last summer when I went to my friends wedding in Portugal, after that has been pretty much work work work :P.

For this vacation we (my boyfriend and I) will be going to Slovakia (where we are at the moment) and after we are going to Croatia.

The first night when we arrived in Slovakia there was a crazy festival of thunders and lightnings to the point that during the night when I was sleeping there was a thunder so strong that woke me up and left me completely disorientated and kinda vibrated the house. It sounded like someone was exploding fireworks inside the house. I've seen some pretty intense lightings and thunders but this one took the cake.

I initially wanted to vlog buuuuut I realize I'm not good with that so I've been using Snapchat more often than ever. In case you wanna follow me there my account is nerak_86. I upload whenever I have wi-fi since we are not using roaming because is a bit expensive.

Other than that I'm looking forwards for the Croatian beaches doing nothing but tan and chill, get some colour on my skin to last me all the way till next year haha.

I will try and take as many photos as I can and if I have enough material I will Blog about like I used to in the past.

EN: Hey guys, it has been a month since I've been there. Last time I posted I was about to turn 30 years old. My birthday was great, I went to a restaurant that I've been a few times (including on my 29th Bday as well) called Trattoria Mondello close to Godge Street Station, typical Italian food. I spent it with some of my friends that live in the London plus my boyfriend and my cousin. I was happy and sad at the same time since my original plan was to go to Portugal but because of financial reasons I couldn't go and celebrate it with my parents. It's funny right? when you are younger you just want to spent it with your friends , out and about as you grow older you might prefer to spent it with close family.

Well hello October!

Bloody hell I seriously can not believe that we are already in October, another two months and it's Christmas.

I haven't done a Musical Friday post in a long time (at least a year) and to be honest these days I find it harder to find music that I reeeeeealllyyy like. I guess I'm getting old and my music taste has wide as it is, it is set. There are new artist all the time but a lot of them are too young for me and I can't relate with the lyrics, too juvenile, too happy so on.

I'm back with another Musical Friday. I admit that lately I haven't been paying too much attention to what's new or not, I've been stuck listing to my oldies and getting a bit nostalgic. But let's get updated shall we?

1) Birthday cake from work and a bottle of Prosecco. 2) Tequila shots, first of any at the Trafalgar Chealsea Pub. 3) And then we hit the disco 151.

4+5) Had a lot of fun dancing. 6) Slept over at my mates house #HangoverSelfie.

7) My ASOS dress and necklace finally arrived but not on time for me to wear it on my Bday. 8) Family BBQ... hhuuummm chicken. 9) My second Birthday cake hehe.

LAST FRIDAY NIGHT.... it was great. This Friday was my Birthday I'm officially 28 AAAAAHHHHHHH. I had an awesome time with some of my work colleagues+friends not everybody could come since they worked on Saturday morning, which I completely understand, been there done that.

And today I had another birthday celebration with some family members of mine that live in London.

P.S.: Both cakes were delicious!

Honestly since mid February the last weeks all seem like a big blur, like I can't believe that has been X days or Y weeks that I've done a certain thing because it all feels like it happened just a couple of days ago. Anyways I'm getting to the point that I need to find a new job, something that gives me a fix salary so that I can get my own room and get properly settled because I'm still living with some family members of mine.

EN: Hello everyone. Today I will only share one song with you. If you read my previous posts, specially the Musical Fridays ones, you will know that I haven't had the best of weeks lately and to add to this another family member of mine past away this week so that is one of the reasons for my lack of posts here.

For these past 12 days I was in (forced) vacations... shitties vacations ever... but tomorrow I'm going back to work, even if it isn't my dream job, I'm freaking happy to go back and see and talk to people because I'm currently home alone, so it's just Me, Myself and I. Since I live with some family members of mine, the person that passed away was in Portugal, so everybody is over there and I stayed behind.

So this next song I will dedicate to Fenela Dias, I will truly miss you.

Musical Friday #133

 EN: "Better things are coming" is what I've been telling to myself lately so I keep myself sane. 

Right now I'm on "vacation", one hell of a vacation this is. For these last three days I've been at home, why? Well on Wednesday and Thursday the weather was absolutely crap plus there was an underground strike. Yes the buses were still working but for me the Underground is the best thing. And today, when it's actually sort-of sunny I have to stay at home because of the builders that are fixing the walls and ceiling of the house and now the man just told me that he might have to come back on Monday to finish the job.... REALLY! Another day that I have to spend aaallll day at home? You gotta be kidding me. And I guess is also uncertain if next week there will be another strike or not... ooohhh London.

Other than that, there has been a lot of ups and downs in my life, family members passing away others going to the hospital, so far 2014 kindaaaa kinda sucks, yeah it sucks.

EN: So Christmas is around the corner and I found out today that I don't have to work on the 24,25 and 26 woot woot. This year I will spend my Christmas holidays here in London with some family members of mine but away from my Mom and Dad.

As I get older, I become less and less fond of Christmas due to various reasons.

EN: I've been wanting to do some tattoos for quite a long time now but in the beginning I wasn't sure what I wanted and then since I was young there was no way in hell my mother would let me and then of course money issue because tattoos as we know are not cheap and the better the tattoo artist is, obviously the more expensive is going to be. At my current job some of my colleagues have quite big and visible tattoos so it kinda triggered my interest again.
Do you know any good and decent tattoo shops/artist in London?

Backstreet Boys - Show 'Em (What You're Made Of) - New Single - I don't know about you but I've been a fan of BSB since FOREEEEEVVEEERRRRR! And now I just found out that theyare going to be in London next year, I AM THERE! This is probably the last time that I will ever be able to see them, so I have to find a way to go, even if I go alone!

Musical Friday #129

EN: This week I wasn't able to post anything on my Blog, hopefully next week will be different plus I will able to upload a new video on Youtube.

So we have started a new month, many people are looking forward for Christmas, I'm not. Not because I'm not able to go home for Christmas and be with my parents but in general Christmas doesn't mean much for me. Over the last years it has more of a sad connections then happy.

Oh yeah, last Saturday the actor Paul Walker (known very well because of the Fast and Furious movies) died in a car accident (ironic right?) and then last night Nelson Mandela dies uuffffff.

At my new job I'm starting to have more shifts, which is good because it means more money the only bad thing is I get home kind late and I have no energy to still come to the computer and do a proper post. The places that I'm a bit more easily active is on my Tumblr and Pinterest, so please check those places out ;).

I can't wait to get my first paycheck, I'm already doing a list of things that I need to buy, one of them a new coat, a Parka. I will talk about that probably on my next blog post.

Now I'm off to bed because I have to work this weekend. Byyyeeeee!

EN: Remember about 3 weeks ago I did a post about the fact that we didn't have the lights working in the bathroom? So soon after that the lights went crazy again -_- so for another 3 weeks we had to take a shower with candle lights. But at least this time around the guys came to fix it "pretty fast" compared to the first time around. 

Now I'm going to sleep, I have to work this weekend and this Saturday I work all day. God I'm going to be so tired going up and down the stairs. x

EN: Another week has passed but now I'm finally working. But it's not your typical office, Monday to Friday, 9AM till 5PM type of job. I'm working in a Restaurant so that means crazy shifts and no more proper weekends because those are days that I'll be defiantly working. I've been through this before, back in 2011 I worked in a call-center while I lived in Prague but the differences was that I did a 8/9 hours shift and now most of the times I only work 3 hours per day but I'm not the only one.

Anyways this is just temporary, like my mother would say, I didn't go to University, studied abroad, worked abroad to end up working in restaurant! I have big dreams, I always had big dreams but for now is like Drake's song "started from the bottom now we're here", I had to start somewhere and they are paying, so don't let me words make you think that I'm complaining. I'm very grateful for this job opportunity because in fact, they were the only place that called me for an interview and end up hiring me
