EN: Now that I finally have my Parka, actually not only one but two, now I'm on a hunt for some boots. I have some mid and high heels boots but those are not always practical for everyday basis, so I'm looking mainly for flat boots that are also good for cold and rainy days in London.

Any suggestions? Something that is also affordable if possible. Ideally I would love a pair of Dr, Martens boots but they cost around £80 to £100 :(.

Warm Me Up #2 - Parkas by karenussene featuring VILA

EN: The weather in the U.K. is getting colder and colder and I started noticing that even though my Zara coat is lovely is not warm enough for this weather, plus I can't put to many shirts on when I use that coat because the sleeves are too tight. So I've been thinking of buying a new coat.

You see so many big coats that are expensive and you think "Oh this is probably very warm." and it ends up not being warm at all, let me tell you this has happened to me countless times. Recently my cousin bought a parka from NEXT and it really got me thinking and I might buy a parka as well. And her is perfect because you can remove the inside and you can still use the parka during the Spring for those annoying rainy days in London.

Here are some of the jackets that I found on the interwebs. I still don't know if I get a black one, dark navy blue or khaki. Sales are just around the corner :D.

Laptop Wishlist #4

EN: In case you did not know I currently don't have my own laptop. I used to have one but it failed for the third time last year and at the time I did not have money to fix it and I decided it was not worth to fix it again.

So now I'm on a laptop hunt and searching what's best for me. For now I want a laptop that I can do a little bit of everything really, like the basics, watch movies, listen to music, play some games, write some documents and browse on the internet but in the future I know I would like to install some programs like photo and video editing programs and I know that those things can be a bit heavy for a just a simple laptop.

So do I go for a simple laptop or do I buy the best of the best? 

The other thing is that I always had and worked with Windows computers and right now Windows 8 is sshhhiiiiiiiiittttttt! Seriously Windows, get your shit together! And I'm not very into the Apple shenanigans. Windows and Apple for me is like, you always went to Mac Donald's (Windows) but one day you are hungry and there is no Mac Donald's around so you go for Burger King (Apple) and it's just not the same, that's how I feel about Apple haha.

One thing is for sure NO MORE ACERs laptops, that was the brand of my previous laptop, so maybe Sony or HP, any suggestions?

EN: Hello Bananas!

Here in Portugal we are still full-on Summer. Last year Fall/Autumn only starter creeping in mid-October, I have no idea how is going to be this year but anyways by that time I will be in London so things might be different over there.

Although it's crazy hot here, the Autumn/Winter Collections are already popping in stores and all I want now it's black clothes... well actually, all year long I want black clothes but when you live in a hot country with temperatures from 30º to 40º C degrees, it is hard to walk around dressed in black, it's kind of a suicidal mission.

Se vocês vivem em Portugal sabem muito bem que o Verão está longe de acabar. No ano passado o Outono só começou lá para meio de Outubro, não sei como será este ano mas até lá de qualquer das formas estarei em Londres por isso as coisas provavelmente vão ser um pouco diferentes por lá.

Embora esteja uma braza por aqui, as colecções de Outuno/Inverno já começam a aparecer nas lojas e tudo o que eu quero agora é roupa preta... bem eu na verdade quero roupa preta o ano inteiro mas quando se vive numa terra com temperaturas entre 30º a 40º C graus, é um pouco complicado andar por aí com roupa preta, é uma missão suícida.

- Shiseido Brush - Since I saw that brush in someone's makeup tutorial I was like I NEED TO HAVE IT!

- Black Varsity7 Denva Jacket from Topshop by The Ragged Priest - It's In and it has spikes, what more can I want?

- Zara Envelope Bag - Since I saw Lilly Pebbles with one, it was like Love at first sight. Today I was in Zara but I only saw that envelope bag attached to another popular Zara bag from last year, I was like "what the hell?" but there is suppose to be a separate version as you can see in the picture and it's pretty affordable about 12,95€ I think.

- Golden Chain Necklace - Yep I want one of those too.

- Rebecca Minkoff Skylar Mini White Bag - Isn't adorable? And expensive as fudge, about 195€ (250$) FFUUUUUUU.

- Channel 583 Taboo nail polish - AMAZING! I feel like I'm looking into space.

- Mandy Mint Pumps - I haven't giving up getting a pair of shoes like this style. I can't afford Jeffrey Campbells (The Foxy's) right now and in Portugal SEASIDE has a cheaper version but the quality hhuuummm it doesn't look like it will last long.

Nokia Lumia 800 and 900

On the Left Nokia Lumia 900 and on the right Nokia Lumia 800. 

Guys... I desperately want/need an upgrade! If you have been following my Blog for a while now, you probably know that I LOVE Nokias mobile phones <3 - previous posts here and here - specially the new generation ones. Right now I'm in Love with the Nokia Lumia 800 and 900. The differences between the two at first sight are minimal, in terms of shape they resemble the Nokia N9 - which I adore - although the new Nokia phones work with Windows 8 (I think), and the previous ones I think they worked with Android, I hope this doesn't mean that the system will crash and then appear the famous blue screen of death of Windows XD. The Nokia Lumia 800 has been out since late 20011 early 2012 and the Nokia Lumia 900 is due to come out this month in the U.K.. The Lumia 900 is bigger than the 800, there is a difference on where the Nokia Logo is placed and there is less of a black space on the bottom of the screen with the 900. Other than this information I do not know much more, since I don't have them in order to compare. But you can always check some videos from Youtube that do some reviews on the subject.
