EN: On the cover of the July issue of Vogue U.K. is the actress Helena Bonham Carter. Married with the a oh-so-famous Director Tim Burton, most movies that I've seen with her she plays someone with a lot of character and a bit crazy, like a wicked evil wizard on Harry Potter, the Red Queen on Alice in Wonderland, a Cook that uses Humans meat to cook pies in Sweeney Todd, among many many other caracthers she played, these are just some of my favourite.

EN: Hello Bananas! I few weeks ago I saw Miley Cyrus pictures for V Magazine and WOW, this is defo not Hannah Montana anymore.

What do you think about these pictures? And her hair? When she initially cut her hair I as like huummm then I saw other pictures and I thought she looked nice. Now I do admit I prefer her with her hair down then all up in the air, well unless is like a nice faux hawk. Did you see her hair at the MET Gala 2013 last week? The theme of the Gala was Punk Rock, and she sure did dressed up for the occasion.

Rihanna for River Island

EN: Hello Bananas! I few months ago I told you that Rihanna was teaming up with clothe brand River Island to do a collection. And a couple of weeks ago it was the London Fashion Week and the clothes were finally revealed. In my opinion, the clothes are very Rihanna (current) style, the collection seems to be inspired by the 90's underground, very minimalistic style and most clothes are either white, black or grey, with a few colour pieces like yellow ad red and denim blue. 

Below you can see some videos with the Fashion Show. So what do you guys think about the collection? Would you personally buy anything? There are certain pieces that I like, like the cap, the bag, the boots and some of the dresses.

ZARA Spring/Summer Collection 2013

EN: Hello Bananas! Like I already expressed in a few posts I can't wait for Spring and Summer to come along and by watching these type of videos (about Spring and Summer Collections) does not help! 

PT: Olá Bananas! Como já falei em outros posts meus eu mal posso esperar pela a Primavera e o Verão e provavelmente ver este tipo de vídeos (relacionado com as colecções para a Primavera e o Verão) não ajuda nada!

Primark Spring/Summer Collection 2013

EN: Hello Bananas! As I was sitting in my bedroom and looking out of my windows this morning it was raining like crazy bananas and I immediately started thinking of warmer weather and wearing less clothes. Two days ago I came across some new videos of Primark for the new Spring & Summer collection for 2013. In general I like what I see, although most of the trends we kinda already seen last year, with the pastels, neons, paisley, lace, sporty etc.

Nevertheless, something interesting in fact is that Primark is going launch a Sports line. Well I'm not 100% if it is something new but is definitely the first time that I (personally) noticed such clothing items.

PT: Olá Bananas! Estava eu aqui no meu quarto de manhã a olhar pela janela e estava a chuver a potes e imediatamente comecei a pensar em tempos mas quentes e de usar menos roupa. À dois dias vi uns vídeos sobre a nova colecção para a Primavera e Verão da Primark. No geral eu gosto mas ao mesmo tempo muito do que vemos são tendências do ano passado como as cores em tons de pastel, neons, o padrão paisley, renda, estilo desportivo etc...

No entanto, algo de interessante é que a Primark vai lançar uma linha desportiva. Bem eu digo que vai lançar porque é a primeira vez que eu (pessoalmente) tenha notado tais roupas.

Hello Bananas and Happy New Year! So did you party hard? I can't believe we are in 2013 already. 2012 it went by so fast, well at least the first half while I was in London, the rest of the year back in Portugal it went sloooowwwww...

Anyways I really hope that things will change this year and for better of course.

Lana for H&M and RiRi for River Island

Hello Everyone! The Ladies above need no introduction, but just in case you don´t know them - and if don´t... where have you been? - on the left is singer Lana Del Rey and on the right also singer and I guess sort of an actress Rihanna.

And soon this is what is going to happen... no they are not getting together and do a duet - not that I know of - but each of them are getting to together with a clothes brand. This Tuesday was announced that Lana Del Rey will be the new face of Swedish brand H&M for this year´s Fall campaign. Now I don´t know if she will be just the face or also has some input on the clothes design. But apparently on the 19th of September it will be released a video commercial with Lana singing a famous song "Blue Velvet", a request made by H&M.

Now as for Rihanna, this one opposite to Lana's announcement, I haven´t seen many people talking about it, maybe because River Island (a U.K. brand), even though is sold Internationally, with cool kinda expensive clothes, still is not has BIG has H&M. Anyways yeah, on Monday was announced that Rihanna will collaborate with River Island for 2013 Spring Collection. And apparently Rihanna was the one that approach River Island, read the news HERE. Now I wouldn't imagine Rihanna with River Island, I think that Rihanna would be a better match with TOPSHOP, but never the less I´m excited to see what is she going to do!
