Quick Post: September got me feeling like...

EN: This year, September got me feeling all types of things. It has me craving for new things, the same way a new season is coming I feel like I need change in so many areas of my life.

So many things haven't been going well for me for a while now and I'm so tired of it and person can only take so much before reaching insanity. 

Got to find a new direction in life.... a new motivation....

Quick Post : Being back Online in 2015

EN: If you have been a follower of my Blog for a while you have probably noticed a lack of posts during a certain period of time and the reason for that is... LIFE!

Nope, no long explanation, just life in general, like I already had told you in past post, I used to work at least 6 days a week, sometimes even 7/8/9 days in a row. And then things also changed in my life this year, I'm in a new relationship, my boyfriend and I are now living together as well, I quit the previous job that was stuck and unhappy for a year and a half, I have a new job now that is a bit less tiring.

Quick Post #8 - Where have you been Giiiirl?

EN: Hello everyone!

I know, I know long time no see and I wish I had a good excuse for my absence on my Blog, like I've been working in a secret project, or I've been travelling around the world, but no in all honesty I simply didn't have time, not just that but energy and patience. With all of this I mean, I don't know if in past posts I mentioned that basically I work six days a week and on my days off the last thing I want to do is to be on my laptop, normally I sleep till late to recover, then do any house duties and/or go out with my boyfriend or friends if I can. For the last three months I was actually working in two different jobs - but still working six days a week - until recently I gave my "bye bye" letter to one of them. So I'm currently a part-timer and I'm looking for another job, something more "normal", ideally a 9 to 5pm type of job, Monday to Friday, that is my dream right now.

Soooo and what about your Blog Karen? I going to try ease into it again. Can you believe that the other day I was trying to change a picture on my Blog and I literally went like.... "How did I use to upload my picture here?", I felt like a newbie and I have to relearn everything again, hopefully it will be like riding a bicycle... you never forget. But ideally I would like to change my Blog layout but like major changes, I just don't know how to do it, I probably will have to Google for some web/blog Designers to help me out because I'm sooooo tired of my standard Blogger layout.
So that will be all for now, even though I haven't been Blogging, every time I buy a new product I still try to take pictures of the item untouched haha, so I have a bunch pictures in stand-by.

EN: OH WOW! Seven Months?!?!?! Oh Boy, Oh Boy... that's not good. I have no one to blame but myself.

What have I been doing for the last seven months? Well besides finally having my own bedroom, and now I want to move out of it BADLY, as soon as possible... (I'm tired of the humidity, the mice an my loud and irresponsible house mates), dying the ends of my hair Red (red ombré effect), and then all Brown for like 2 weeks and then Black in order to properly cover the red ends, I had a mini-vacation in Portugal, got to see my family and friends and go to the beeeeeeach :D. Then I returned to London and back to reality, working 6 days a week and trying to enjoy life doing little things here and there most of the times alone, simply because most of my friends have a different work schedule from me.

What I also realised is that it has been one year and five months since I've moved (for the third time ) to London... wow time flies.
For the month of January I've been having less shifts at work and with that free time I've been looking for a new bedroom and it's time to look for a new job as well. So far the year of 2015 has been definitely good specially if I compare to last year in which I had bad things after bad things happening in my life.

And that will be it for now, I shall "see" you on my next post... hopefully not in another seven months time.  Now that I also finally have a new laptop, hopefully I will get my Blogging habits and skills back, I really do miss it.

I'm still here!

EN: Hello my lovely Bananas!

It has been a month since I last posted anything over here. To tell you the truth I had some highs but also some very low lows.

2014 is not my year. In a space of four moths there were six deaths - five of them were family members - so hopefully you will understand if my head is a bit all over the place.

For two weeks I had a tablet, a Windows Surface RT, I thought that it would help me with my Blogging but no, I ended up returning it. Internet explorer was freaking slow and was always crashing when I watched Youtube videos and I wasn't able to install other browsers like, Firefox or Google Chrome. The good thing about it is that I could connect my external drives to it. I'm just not a tablet kind of girl, I need a Laptop or a Desktop computer, I multi-task when I'm on the computer so I need one that can handle that.

All of this just to let you know that I'm still here, a bit offline these days but hopefully better days will come my way.xoxo

First post of 2014

EN: COFF COFF *cleaning dust* COFF COFF... Is anybody out there?

And the award for the worst Blogger goes to......... ME! XD :/ :( >.<.

I'm sorry you guys I really am. I didn't plan to spend so much time without Blogging. My last days of December were spent with me trying to get better - because I was sick again -, working double shifts, spending NYE at work with my work colleagues and in the middle of all that you can add some personal stuff that happened to me that I don't feel comfortable to talk about it that actually I'm still trying to figure out and understand what the fuck is going on....

Other than that I will try and return to my Blogging habits, I admit that I enjoyed this pause, like I said many time before, sometimes coming home late at night after work the last things I want to do is to Blog, plus I still don't have my own laptop. I have no idea if I will be able to buy one anytime soon. Ooooohh life.

2013 ended with a bit of a bitter sweet taste for me. I closed a few chapters in my life and opened new ones and now let's see what 2014 will bring me.

I know that we are basically in the middle of January but still Happy New Year!!! Now I will take this opportunity that I'm feeling all pumped up and prepare a post for tomorrow.

Busy times ahead...

EN: I know... I know I haven't been the best Blogger in the world... but was I ever? HAHA NOT!

Some of you may already know this but a week from now I'm flying to London, I've been saying this for the last month or so. 

I haven't been able to sit and focus and do a proper Blog post in a while. And I know... I know there are tones of Bloggers out there that manage to study+work+be a wife+be a mother+1000 things and still do a blog post on a daily basis but that's them and this is me.

I've been dealing with my shiz making sure I don't forget to do anything before I leave, I even made a list of "things to do", no joke because my memory is getting that bad.

Other than that I'm starting my goodbye season for the 85582877 time. My friend are probably tired of me leaving the country (because I lived abroad 3 times) and going like "How many times is she going to do this again?" haha.

In any case I'm a bit more active on other social medias like Tumblr, Pinterest and my Facebook Fan Page. My Twitter is mostly links of things that I post on those websites and videos that I like on Youtube. And speaking of Youtube yeah that is on stand-by as well. I'm trying to see if I'm able to film a couple of videos before I go.

OH want to know something funny... that actually is not funny... I don't have a laptop... sooo I don't know how am I going to blog once I'm there. Where I'm staying they have a computer buuut it's not the same you know? I'll figure something out, if things go well I will buy a new laptop once I'm there. Although I don't fancy the English keyboard, because the signs are in different positions and others that are part of the Portuguese vocabulary I have to figure it out where they are -_-. Any suggestions of good laptops (no Mac/Apple stuff please).

Jewish Cemetery @ Prague

Hello everyone!

Yeah I´m still alive, I haven´t gone in some vacation to a place without Internet and what not... I've been a bit absent from my Blog due to some recent personal things that happened to my Family.

This last weekend my Grandfather (my Mother's father) passed away :(. About two weeks ago he had a heart attack and got better, so we were all hopeful and thinking that the worse was over but unfortunately things got worse and he eventually passed away Saturday evening. He was 79 years old.

What made this situation harder for me is the fact that my Mother wasn't able to participate on the funeral, you see my Grandfather lived in Mozambique (where my parents originally are from) and traveling over there last minute is very expensive, not to mention that my mother would have to pass through the Doctors to check if it is okay for her to go there and what medicine should she take (because she had cancer in the past)... what makes this situation tragic is that since my Mother  (actually also my Father) left Mozambique they have never been back... so my parents haven´t seen their parents in more than 26 years... so my mother didn't have the chance to see her parents one last time before they passed away. Also in a few weeks is going to be a year that my Grandmother (my Mother's mom) passed away aswell.... so it´s all to much for the time being.

Seriously I think my parents life could be converted into a movie, the things that they have been through is uuunnbelievable.

So I hope you understand my lack of post these days.

Hello again my lovely follower!

I'm sorry again for the lack of posts, but I should get back to normal soon.... I hope >.

Now I'm writting you from Portugal, I'm back home now :D, finally eating proper food :P

Last week was crazy bananas, I though it would be calmer, so I could enjoy a last week in Prague, when the weather was actually GOOD and sunny, but in the end was hard, between the packing, and doing some stuff for the Da Vinci programme, and closing my bank account, and partying hard on Friday Night - uuuuhhhh it was nice - but more about that later on.... gotta catch up with my Prague´s Resumes ssssssss aahhhhhh >.<

Anyways, my journey on Sunday evening to Portugal in overall went pretty well. I actually had extra luggage, and I asked the guy about this thing that TAP airline has for Erasmus students that can bring extra kilos, and not pay for it, I wasn't sure if it was still valid or not, I had a document saying that I was an Erasmus student, although was in Portuguese (the guy didn't speak portuguese).... but in the end I didn´t pay extra for nothing :O :D. My flight was one hour delayed, so I basically just arrived in Lisbon, Portugal, at midnight. My mom and my cousin came to pick me up, we went home, my dad was still awake lol, and after an hour or so I had to go to sleep, I was DEAD!

You know what's worse than packing? ...... UNPACKING! Now I'm doing that, and realizing I have too much shiz!.... My wardrobe is about to explode. So other than just put the clothes back in there, I'm taking some time and analizing the clothes, basically checking things that I don´t use, and put them apart, either to throw them away, or give it to someone else.... It´s time to refresh my wardrobe... if I don´t use it, why the hell keep it? I have big problems with letting go of stuff, so baby steps. I did a bit with the clothes and even some old make-up, other than that is hard lol. I'm hoping that they manage to fix the damn loft/attic in my building, so I can move some stuff upstairs, like for example, travelling bags, yeah we are full of them, and that stuff takes up space, even if we put one inside another insinde another inside another lol. 

Okei then, I will go back to the unpacking stuff, and then hopefully tomorrow I can do a post about my August shopping, which I didn't managed to so far, and replied to your comments!!!

Hello everyone!

Sorry for the lack of posts. This is my last week in Prague, and I have already finished my internship. On the 18th of September I'm returning to Portugal.

This week I've been kinda busy, slowly packing (hate packing), I'm gonna have to pay extra luggage -_-, enjoying a bit of Prague before I leave, and also trying to make some decisions about my future.

This week at my home University in Lisbon, Portugal, has opened the "competition" for the Leonardo Da Vinci program.

For those that are nor familiar with the LDV program, is basically the possibility to do an internship in another European country. It´s basically a program similar to the one that I´m doing now, that is called something like Erasmus Long Life Experience (that goes from 3 to 12 months, internshiping somewhere in Europe, but the scholarship is a bit small), the Da Vinci, is always 6 months, normally from February till June, doing an internship aswell somewhere in Europe, and the scholarship is a liiiiitle bit bigger.

Soooo I have to decide if I wanna do it or not, and where, and FAST! Since I´m not in Portugal is hard for me to apply, ´cause is only during this week. And on the next week that follows will be the face to face interview, to help with the selection of the students that can do Da Vinci.
