Hello August

EN: Hello Bananas!

And just like that we are on the 8th month of the year, before you know it, it's Christmas again x_X!
August will be a bit of a busy month for me, I can finally plan my return to London. I'm hoping to fly in September since tickets for August are so FREAKING expensive. I have to do some errands here and there and leave everything in order before I go. And also decide what goes with me and what stays behind, I'm lucky that I have a lot of winter clothes in London from last year. I think my bag will be filled only with, bags, shoes, jackets, make-up, nail polishes and accessories haha. But we will see, I still have to leave some clothes here in Portugal, for those times that I come and visit, that way I don't have to bring clothes whenever I come here.

Things that make you go huuummm! #11

EN:  Hello Bananas!
Last Friday I made some pancakes/crepes. I say pancakes/crepes, because some were big and slim and other small and thick. It has been a big fat while since I made some, so I blame it a bit on a lack of habit.

A few years ago I used to be a bit better at it. Me and my girl friends would get together and do a pancake/crepes Festival and have different topings, from the traditional jams and honey, to fruit, Nutella, chantilly/whip cream, cheese, ice cream etc.

The biggest Crepe Festival I ever been to was when I was living/studying in Nottingham U.K. back in 2010. There was a house gathering and the French girls were responsible for making the crepes and there was probably at least 20 people in that house. I do miss a big house party sometimes.

Hello July

 

EN: Well what ya know? It's July! Ju-freaking-ly... the seventh month of the year. Time is flying waayyy too fast for my taste.

June was a month that started of shitty but then it got better much better. Simply because I'm lucky to have the friends that I have and I spent a lot of time with them this last month, specially last week. From Tuesday to Sunday I hanged out with my mates everyday. And I hope that July is no different.

EN: That time of the year has arrived that you probably want to eat ice cream aaaallll the time! What's your favourite flavour? Mine is one that I think it's no longer produced, it is a Cornetto with Cappuccino/Coffee flavour. Other than that the Strawberry Cornetto is always welcomed and I also like caramel ice cream.

PT: Chegou aquele altura do ano em que se calhar vos apetece comer gelados a toda hora! Qual é o vosso sabor favorito? O meu é um que já não fabricam (acho eu) da Cornetto com sabor a Cappuccino/Café. Fora isso Cornetto de morango é sempre bem vindo e gelado de caramelo também :P.

Trend | Tribal/Aztec Print

EN: Hello Bananas! So first of all the whole Tribal/Aztec print thing is not news for me but this year I think the trend is full on with skirts, shorts, dresses, leggings, nail art, bags, accessories and shoes. Basically everything.

Do you guys like this trend? I actually bought a black and white tribal/aztec print skirt last month but I haven't used it yet because I have no idea how to pair it with so I'm using the power of the Internet to get some inspiration.

Do you have any suggestions?

EN: Hello Bananas! When I normally do these kind of posts I collect my pictures from Pinterest and Tumblr but I was checking some older posts of mine and I noticed that the pictures are not appearing, meaning I have to re-edit the posts and "refresh" the embed codes of the pictures. God Pinterest I thought you were suppose to be perfect!

Hello June

EN: Hello Bananas! So I'm gonna say it... I can't believe we are already in June. I mean what the hell?!? Time is flying waayyy too fast for my taste but in any case Summer time should arrive soon. Well I hope so, I've heard this week that the weather this year won't be the best one :/. But hopefully we will have some good sunny days to enjoy the beach.

O dias passam a voar mas de qualquer das formas o Verão não tarda a chegar. Bem quer disser, ouvi esta semana que este ano o tempo vai andar um pouco marado :/. Mas com um pouco de sorte teremos alguns dias de sol para apreciar a praia.

EN: Today I was doing some bedroom cleaning and I had to step outside twice, one two throw out some garbage and another to pick something I that I dropped out of my window and all this story to tell you that it was kinda of hot over here and immediately made me wish I had a swimming pool right outside.

Is it too soon to say that Summer has arrived to Portugal?

PT: Hoje estive a fazer algumas limpezas e arrumações no meu quarto e tive de sair de casa duas vezes, uma para ir deitar o lixo e outra para ir apanhar uma vassourinha que eu tinha deixado cair da minha janela e posso dizer que estava calor e imediatamente fez-me desejar por uma piscina aqui mesmo ao lado do meu prédio. Eu sei que existe pelo menos um prédio aqui na minha terriola que tem uma piscina para os moradores... aaahhh sortudos! Ainda cheguei a ir lá, quando uma amiga da minha mãe vivia por lá.

Será cedo de mais para dizer que o Verão já chegou a Portugal?
