Sephora Lip Products

 

EN: Last Summer I saw some girls on Youtube raving about these Sephora Lip products, so when I went on holidays to Portugal last year, as soon as I land it in Lisbon, on my way to my parents place I passed by the Sephora shop in the Vasco da Gama shopping mall.

In general I always gravitate to to reds and wine red, plummy colours because I think that's is what suits me best, I have yet to find a good pinky or nude colour that suits me.

Colour Eye Pencils

EN: I may not have the biggest eyeshadow palette collection but even with what I´ve got sometimes I feel super lazy to do any eye-makeup-look so the next best thing is colour eye pencils. Just a simple winged eyeliner and I'm done. So are where are some of mine eye pencils.

Haul | Summer Shopping

Yeah you read it right, "Summer Shopping" this post is very delayed one of the reasons why it's because the photos were all over the place. Since my Laptop died I have photos on my old home computer, my personal external drive and another drive that my cousins lent me because I just had to much stuff on my laptop. And since I can be a bit lazy at times (hey I'm human) I wasn't in the mood to search all of the photos in the endless folders that I have nevertheless here is the post here are things that I bought.

Funny enough I didn't buy ANY clothes for myself this Summer, wow Karen wow. Oh I also made a video but it's in Portuguese.

A Gift from Sephora #3

Hello everyone, how's your Sunday going? Mine? With rolls on my head haha, I just finished putting rollers on my hair.
Ok so, my Birthday is in April, and I have a membership card with Sephora - those ones that, everytime you buy something you collect point - and this year during the month on April I was still in Prague, and what Sephora does to their customer that have the membership card is to give them a little Bday gift. So my mother took care of it for me. She told me the two options was either to accept like some point to my card, or some eyeshadows, I told her to get the eyershadows :P.
So as you can see from the pictures below, those are the eye shadows that Sephora gave me.
On the left we have Nº18 Coffee Brown, and on the right Nº8 Universal Beige. Huummm what can I say more about them - I'm not really big of a guru makeup artist lol -... I like them of course, I like the colours, I think they are a good set for a basic smokey eye, in terms of pigmentation I think it's also good. Now, in terms of duration I haven't use them that much, for long periods of time, but so far so good, they stay in place, I don't know if it because it's Fall now, or simply that they are good.
Have you ever tried eyeshadows from Sephora? I think this was my first time, and I'm pleased.

3 Risqué Nailpolishs in, Obsessão (purple), Rose Bombom (light pink), New York (dark grey)

Labello Fruity Shine Cherry - I can not tell you how much I love this lip balm <3 Although this is a new version of the Labello Cherry lip balm. This one has a bit of like shimer/glitter in it, and the colour is not has pigmented as it used to be, but the cherry smell is still there humm nom nom nom =3

Clean & Clear 3 Step Skin Care - I was like pay 2 and get 1 free, it cost like 11.99€, so for free it came the Tonic 

Steripan Insoles - for the sandals that I used at the wedding in Mozambique

A Foundation Brush from Oriflame - It cost like 3.95€ it was on Sale, but the brush is smaller than I thought it would be.

Sephora's Concealer+Corrector - On the left is the Corrector for like covering acne or like some red spots you may have on the face, and on the right is the Concealer for the eyes. I ended up leaving in Mozambique, I gave it to my cousin, but once I got back I bought another one from a different brand...

Aroma do Campo - On the left it's a cream to soften your hair, to make it easier to comb your hair mace of Mineral Clay, and on the right is a conditioner with shock of Keratin

2 Nailpolish - I can't remember the numbers, but the Goldy Yellow one is mine, and the other one belogs to my mother

Make up session with Sephora

So if you read a previous post of mine in October, Happy times with Sephora! you will know that I got a "Beauty Salon" voucher. So I booked the appointment for the 31st of October, Halloween’s day. Since Lately I don’t go out much or go somewhere special, and since that voucher had to be used before the end of the year, I decided that Halloween’s Day was a good day to go there, since later that day I was wanna go to my friend’s house and celebrate Halloween with her, her family and our friends.

Anyways back to Sephora, so I got there, and talked to one of the Ladies, and told her that I was there for a free “Beauty Salon” session, and that I had a voucher. Gave her the voucher plus the letter from Sephora that came with it and she told be that the make up was gonna be simple, and that if I wanted something more elaborate I would have to pay extra. O.K.. Then I went with another Lady that was gonna do my make up to her make up balcony.

Bellow, you will see the pictures that I took from the products that were use on me, plus the final result. 

For the first time in my life I used products from Make Up For Ever, Benefit, Too Faced and Cargo.

(Weird fact, when the Make up Lady put this Lipgloss on my lips she warned me that I was gonna have a fresh feeling on my lips, and I did. Image when you eat one of those extra-mint chewing gums and you have that extra crazy freshness in your mouth, yeah that's how my lips felt.)

In the end she asked me which perfum I liked, I don't own many perfums, and I don't know all the perfums out there :P so I said Britney Spears Fantasy, and she said that they didn't have it anymore, so I said that I like sweet smells.

So she brought two perfums, I don't rememeber the other one, but the one that I picked was this one from Guess by Marciano. And it smells really good.

- That's it?!? You went there only to do that? You can do that... hell, you can even do it better XD HAHA

Happy Times with Sephora!

Oooohhhh where to begin :P

First of all I’m from Portugal. Well in August, when Sephora was on Sale, I bought I couple of things, a Lip pencil from Sephora no.407, a Sephora long lasting eye-liner no.01 black, and a Bourjois eye pencil Khôl & Contour XL in Black. When I went to pay, the lady asked me if I wanted to do the Sephora costumer card, I was like:

-Aaahhhhmmm what do I need to do? – thinking I might have to pay for it or something.

Sephora Lady – Oh, you just need to fill in this paper, name, ID, address, phone number and email if you have.

-Oh… okei.

So while I was filling in the form, and she was charging the things that I bought, she asked me what perfume did I like…

-Ahhhh ahm ahmm , well I like the Britney Spears one, Fantasy…

S.Lady – Huum I don’t have that one, you like sweet perfumes is it?

Me - Yeah.

S.Lady - Okei, I have Lacoste’s Touch of Pink…

Me – hum okei (I don’t think I ever smelled that perfume before, but some girls that I know like, me? Meh)

The Lady gave me two samples of the perfume (one of them I gave it to my mother). I filled in the form, gave it to her, and she give me a paper card, she says that it was a temporary card, till the real one comes, but I could use that one with no problems. So the thing with the Sephora Card, is:

· Every time you buy something in Sephora, and you use your card, every 1€ = 1 point, and when you get to 150 points, you get a 10% off when you buy something and use that discount.

· And another thing, I guess you get a present on your birthday. (I don’t know if they send something to you, or you go and pick at store).

So yeah, that was it for that day. Pass on to the beginning of September, and I saw on the Portuguese Sephora’s Facebook page that they created a Portuguese Twitter account, so since I have a Twitter account, I went there and clicked to Follow them. On the next day I saw on the Sephora’s PT facebook page, that the first 10 followers of the Sephora’s Twitter page, were getting a gift, a cream for the face hihi ^.^ So I sent my info to them, so that they could send me the cream, and a few days later I got it! Plus it came with a “Beauty Salon” let’s call it voucher, where I can get a free makeup session, and learn some stuff about makeup.

Then in October, I got in the mail, my Sephora card, I was getting kinda worried, ‘cause the Lady told me it would take about 4 weeks, and it took 8 weeks :S anyways, I got it, and it came with, another “voucher” for me to pick up a free welcome gift, a little purse with a very little Kabuki brush.

Then, right on the next day I got another thing from Sephora in the mail XD this time I got the 10% off voucher haha.

So on a Saturday morning, I went to the nearest Sephora shop to me, got there, and explained to the guy at the counter what was I there to do. Get the Kabuki brush, told him that I won a cream from Sephora through Twitter so I also got a voucher for the “Beauty Salon” and that I wanted to “do my face” lol, and that I also had the 10%off voucher to use in case I buy anything.

So I gave him, the Kabuki and “Beauty Salon” vouchers, he gave me the little purse with the little Kabuki in it, and then he stared at the “Beauty Salon” voucher, I could see on his face he didn’t knew what was that about, and that he never saw something like that. So I asked him, “do you need to see the letter that came with it?”, which he kinda ignored me, so I took the letter of my bag, and showed it to him, and he was like;

-“Ooooohh you won the Twitter contest, aahhh okei, congrats.”

Me- Yeaaahhh, thanks ^^.

So the guy went to talk to another Lady, responsible for the makeup shenanigans, and they both come back, and the Lady says that, due to the low staff that they have (there was only 3 people working there) it would be better to book the makeup session (even though on the voucher says NO BOOKING NEED IT!), so I told her to forget it, just because I wanted to do it on that day ‘cause I was going out that night, so it would be worth it, and at the time I didn’t remembered that I could book it for Halloween’s day (that’s what I’m gonna try and do tomorrow). So I just end it up walking around the store, see if I found anything I wanted to purchase. So I bought a brush from Sephora, a smudge brush no.14, to help me with smoky looks; a pencil sharpener, because one that I bought during the summer the whole was too big for the pencil that I wanted to sharp; and a nano eye pencil from Sephora in colour plum no.19. And of course I used my 10% off voucher and used the Sephora card, so that I can add new points hehe.

So that’s it, it almost felt like Christmas haha.
